Part 8: "Next Stop: Sweden!"
After a disappointing crossing of the Atlantic, we are now setting our sights on Sweden. Everyone is very excited about heading home and putting in a very good result, to celebrate Ericsson 3's arrival into home waters.
- Part 7: "Professional sailing and family life" 2009-05-05 Hi, I'm Caroline Mason and it's my turn to take over the blogging duties from my husband Richard. I thought I'd tell you a bit about the other side of professional sailing – family life.
- Part 6: "Looking forward to Stockholm" 2009-04-16 Well, life on board Ericsson 3 as we head up the coast of Brazil is hot! It is hard to escape the heat, in the sun on deck and the sweltering temperatures down below in the bunk.
- Part 5: "I stood with my boot on the hole" 2009-02-27 The race is slowly drawing closer to Stockholm, leg by leg. And no leg has been tougher than the last leg for the Nordic crew and our boat Ericsson 3.
- Part 4: "Not a walk in the park" 2008-12-16 Hi, here is the latest report from Richard Mason, watch captain on Ericsson 3. I have something to confess. Directly after the finish in Cochin I ran away from the boat. I hopped on a plane and flew home to Stockholm.
- Part 3: "Some of the worst days I have experienced" 2008-11-13 Hi, Richard Mason here, reporting from Cape Town in South Africa. There are little more than two days left until the start and the next leg of the Volvo Ocean Race. Ericsson 3 and I are ready.
