Celebrity Race today

Mixed teams of celebrities, veteran and junior sailors and entrepreneurs will be challenging each other in the sailing competition Celebrity Race on Tuesday 23 June during the Stockholm Stopover.
Participants include former A-teen Sara Lumboldt, Swedish Army inspector Berndt Grunnevik, Olympic medallist swimming Lars Frölander and Richard Mason from the Ericsson 3 team.
The race will take place just off Skeppsbron and will start outside the Volvo Open 70 marina. The race will start at 4 pm.The competition consists of 2 semifinal heats in which the 3 best boats qualify for the final. There are 6 boats competing in each heat. The competition is for C55 boats.
Each team is made up of one celebrity, one veteran sailor and one junior skipper. A live commentary will be provided for the spectators at Skeppsbron.The prizegiving ceremony will be held at the Main Stage at Skeppsbron at 6 pm.
The competition is arranged in association with the Royal Swedish Yacht Club and the Swedish Sailing Federation.
