”We can fly you to the Black Sea now if you want”

You can now hover above the Volvo Ocean Race in a plane from Skeppsbron. ”We can fly you to the Black Sea now if you want,” says Per Jacobsson, Sales and Marketing Manager at Viamare Sjöflyg.
The Stockholm Stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race has been a public success. People from all corners of the earth have come to Skeppsbron to get a glimpse of the Volvo Open 70 boats and enjoy the many events at the docks.
One of the attractions, for those who want to get a scenic view from above the ground, is being offered by Viamare Sjöflyg. "We have already flown guests both to the Black Sea and out to Sandhamn during Volvo Ocean Race week," says Per Jacobsson.
"No problems on this flight"
Per Jacobsson is well-armed with answers for nervous travellers interested in flying. "Everyone is welcome to fly with us. There are nine places on-board, and we have probably the safest means of transport since we can land both on solid ground and open water," he says.
Nonetheless, flying may not be for everyone. A trip down to the Black Sea can cost up to 11,000 Swedish crowns, and to Sandhamn about 2000 crowns.
