The finish-line at Sandhamn
When: The boats are expected to arrive on 16 June during the course of the afternoon and evening.
Where: There is a good view of the finish line from Sandön.
How: Directly after crossing the finish-line the boats will berth at the main jetty in front of Seglarhotellet. The prize-giving ceremony will be held on-stage in front of the hotel.
Sandhamn is situated in the central-peripheral part of the Stockholm archipelago. The simplest way to get here is by ferry from Strandvägen, Stockholm City or by taking the bus/driving to Stavsnäs where you can catch a ferry to Sandhamn. The trip to Sandhamn takes about 1 hour.
Sandhamn has a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafés. There is also a choice of accommodation to suit every taste and wallet, from four-star hotels to bed & breakfasts. 'After Sail' will take place each Friday and Saturday at the main jetty (stora bryggan) and live bands will performing all summer long. Sandhamn also has a guest harbour which is run by the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS). If you want to be assured of getting a berth in the guest harbour on 16 June, you should contact KSSS as soon as possible.

Please note: A lot of people will be coming to Sandhamn to see the finish of the Volvo Ocean Race, so come to the ferry terminal in good time to be assured of getting a place.
